I got interested in Charlie Greenhaus when I learned that he and his team had done the impossible. They developed a competitive, safe, relatively affordable road racing car powered by electricity. To my knowledge, no one else has come close to what these guys have done. Not VW, not Ferrari, and definitely not Tesla.
I believe this is a feat right up there with history's greatest racing achievements.
To someone like me, who loves motorsport but is also very concerned about the environmental impact of gas powered cars, this seems like a home run. I would think manufacturers, investors, and other big money interests would be all over this. So far, they're not.
I want to know why no one has stepped up to fund this project or anything like it. Let's find out together. Join me for Charlie's Electric Car.
